A new update,57A for PSM 8.1 is available on:

PS/M 8.1 Update 57A includes corrections for problems that occurred in PS/M version 8.1:
• PS/M version 8.1 software crashed when exposing 1-bit TIFF files
originating from Prinergy software
• Spot colors in PDF files that were generated by Preps software, appear
with incorrect equivalence values in the Spot Colors: Specific Info box,
under the RIP parameters tab. The resulting RIP job is also incorrect.
• Spot colors in PostScript and EPS appear with incorrect opacity values in
the Spot Colors: Specific Info box, under the RIP parameters tab. The
resulting RIP job is also incorrect.
• Curved areas, such as circles, in characters and lineart elements appear
jagged after RIP.
