That's the problem: when printing to our Fuji-RIP, jobs appear usually as: "filename".job $Sig $side.
For special jobs we want to get jobnames like the this:
$customer$jobid$sig$side.
Changed splitfilename and PDFsplitfile in this specific profile to:
(customer<5>)(jobid<14>)(sig<2>)(side<1).
It works fine with PDFto PDF, but not with PDF to PS. We always get: filename.job at the beginning.
Does anybody know, what I can do?

I wasn't entirely clear on the issue, but are you placing the "Flat Text Identifier," mark on your template and not getting the expected results? I think I had a similar issue, and instead I changed the string to $COMMENT $SIG:$SIDE $DATE $TIME and then, when "Printing" from Preps, in the empty dialog box type "Job Number/special identity info" prior to "Print" and on your plate will be the info you typed. Make sure the mark is set "Bring to Front."
