Hi,

We currently have 3 OSX workstations w/ a workflow of Preps importing PDFs in and exporting our full plate size as a PDF (we have tried both Prefs> Internal Convertor & Acrobat Distiller). Each workstation has it's own unique amount of how often this occurs yet, it has happened on them all.

The final PDF is commonly 35x23.0625" in size.

What we are encountering is that Preps will on a occasion produce a PDF that is 8.5x11", Blank & Opens w/ an error dialog stating "Token Type not Recognized".

It usually happens in pairs; i.e. if we Export web 1 through 4, it'd likely happen to 1-2 or to 3-4.

After another attempt at exporting the same web it normally will be fine and the PDFs are produced normally.

Thanks for any help or insight,
Brett

Hello, are all the workstations sharing the same folders for your marks, templates and printers? OR do they each use their own set on their own workstations?

Currently all 3 workstations are using a shared location of a single set of Marks & Templates, only thing unique to ea. station is the Printer Folder since, that hardly ever changes.

Thanks for you inquiry... not that this post is getting alot of attention,
Hopefully we can come to some solution,

~ Brett

Okay the reason i asked that was that we have started using our printers off of our network drive also. Jut so if a file becomes corrupt it will be happening across the board and not on one machine or randomly. Although we have never had this problem i remember seeing a post on here awhile back where someone was having problems with the output being a different size randomly and someone suggested putting their printers folder on a network drive and sharing them. If my memory serves me right this fixed their problem. Could be worth a shot in your case. Hope this helps.
