Prepare and Leopard

I've heard that Prepare doesn't work well on Leopard.

Is the solution to wait for the newer version of InSite that preflights files when uploading?

My understanding is that Prepare is no longer being developed, so the upgrade to InSite 5.5.1 is your best bet.
