Quark, containing Monotone eps, to a PDF?

I have a a quark file containing photoshop monotone eps files. When Quark exports to PDF, the monotone eps files become grayscale and in reverse.

This job was last run in a Rampage workflow by generating eps files from quark and the results were fine once processed by rampage.

Is there a simple solution to generating a proper PDF that retains the monotone value?

I did a quick test and found that the spot colour monotone stayed as spot colour if i set the quark export to 'as is'. Does that work for you?
