We have a few customers who use the page flipping feature on InSite. They now want us to create a file from the single page PDFs and combine them into a magazine that they can put on their web site and flip through the pages. I see a lot of magazines on the web like this. What is the best software to do this with?

Thanks in advance for your help

You can do this in InDesign CS4. The only draw back is, you may have to build a multipage document and place the individual PDFs into the document.

Or, you can use the data merge function and auto create the entire document.

By making the flipbook in InDesign, you may not have as much control of the finished product (i.e. allowing end users to jump from one page to another page; check out BestBuy's weekly flier) but they will be able to flip from page to page chronologically.

If you have InDesign CS4 and Acrobat you can do this without any extra software.

Liquid6,

How exactly are you achieving this in InDesign? I had no idea it could do this.

Here are a few tutorials on exporting interactive Flash from InDesign.

It's much better in CS5, which you can see a bit about here:

Good luck.
