Does anyone now when Kodak will have Insite ready for Snow Leopard? Or is there a work around?

I have beenusing 10.6 and insite since the beta days with great luck. Works best in firefox for me, but if you put safari in 32 bit mode, then you are good there also. There was some deal with java and I found a link to here in the forums... but after that, 10.6 was my primary machine.

Yep works fine in 32 bit mode for me.

Get info on Safari.app and there is a check box to set it to 32 bit.

The only indication of problems for me with Insite 5.5.3 was that uploads kept dropping out. After 32 bit mode was activated all was good.

Dennis.

Anyone had issues with firefox 3.6.12?

Not snow leopard though

Uploads not working using Firefox 3.6.12, OS 10.5.8,

# Java Vendor: Apple Inc.
# Java Version: 1.5.0_16
# 1.5.0_16(supported).

@ealbert:

See Knowledgebase Article ID# 82458

Their solution:

1. Use the Apple Safari software OR,

2. If you are using Mac OS X 10.6.4, you can also use the following solution: Reinstall the FireFox software from scratch, and then update the Java version for the Mac to version 10.6, Update 3. This appears to fix the problem.

You could also revert to Firefox 3.6.10: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/3.6.10/mac/en-US/Firefox%203.6.10.dmg

I discovered another solution that seems to be working and you can stay with FIrefox 3.6.12

click the upload files button
click trust - if needed
on the bottom right there is a little lock icon, click it
A dialog box comes up
click the PERMISSIONS tab
under INSTALL EXTENSIONS OR THEMES and SHARE LOCATIONS, change BLOCK to ALLOW.

This has worked for me

Let me know if it works for others

(Firefox 3.6.12, Insite 5, OS 10.5.8)
