View Full Version : FLIM deleted user license problem

Because of my Preps issues, Kodak installed a temporary version of Evo to assign my Preps license. It was installed under a different Windows "user" then what I usually log in to. Other people sometimes use this computer to surf the net, but they kept logging into the wrong user, so after checking with Kodak, I deleted it. Now I can't launch Evo because apparently data critical to launching Evo was assigned to that user. NONE of my contacts at Kodak are responding to email, and I can't get in to Preps. It's a windows Evo user issue. Anyone know how to fix this?

PITA, but it's fixed. Basically, long story short, it was (Windows) turn off sharing, turn on sharing. Reboot. (Mac) Unmount shared volume. Reboot. Mount shared volume. Relink folders.

Well, it was a little more involved, in telling Windows which log in to refer to and getting the correct password... but basically, that was it.

Thanks, Alan!
