View Full Version : Save SmartMarks in a signature as a named group.

One sorely missing feature for SmartMarks is the ability to export or Save AS in one step all of the SmartMarks in a signature as a named group. I am on 5.3.3. stand alone. Is this a feature of 6 and latter?

Of course, the work around is to save each one at a time into a suitably named folder in the smart marks folder, but given the inability to select multiple marks, this is a time consuming process. We should be able to do this in one convenient simple step.

We can now also create groups in the Mac Finder by copying individual smart marks into a named folder in the Smart Marks folder, but doing it from a signature in an open template in the template editor, allows capturing in the new group, the specifics of how each of the marks is used in that particular signature.

If anyone else thinks this would be a useful feature, please post a supporting comment. Otherwise it will remain an isolated request not worth programing time.

I second your request Al. It will be nice to be able to select multiple marks too, so we can delete them, copy/paste them etc.

As we are in the subject of easy steps, it'll be nice to be able to modify all of the plate groups within an imposition at a time, using either the Signature Information box or the Modify Imposition box, as needed, instead of modifying each pair of plates at a time.
