I'm not really sure what I'm asking and I'm not sure which of our Kodak sales techs to ask this so I'll just start here.

I'm completely unfamiliar with the 1-bit Tiff workflow that becomes mandatory with Win2008 server. I'm assuming that Prinergy outputs a 1-bit tiff file that can be either proofed or plated. Does this physical file already have the Colorflow adjustments made to it?

I ask because a company we work with recently upgraded to Prinergy 5 and told us that if we upgrade to Win2008 then we could just give them the 1-bit Tiffs to plate should our trendsetter break. But they don't have Colorflow.

We apply a calibration curve and a dot gain curve during the creation of one-bit tiffs but we are still using Harmony. You can use ColorFlow to do it though.

We use Colorflow with a 1-bit tiff workflow for plate output. All curve information is applied to the 1-bit tiff during creation.
