Anybody able to use the Xrite iSis XL with Colorflow? When I try to read a chart it fails during the calibration. I used the Xrite i1 diagnostic software and the device passes any suggestions?

We had similar. Told X-Rite and got a replacement.

I placed a call to Xrite and they said it was not there problem since the iSis passed the i1 Diagnostic test. I can not argue with that however that still leaves me without a solution. I can not use my iSis with Colorflow. I ask again is any one else experiencing or has experienced this problem?

We just got Colorflow and I'm having the same problem. The Isis is fine. I use it on my GMG proofers with no issue. It passed the Diag from X-rite. But when I try to read a chart with Colorflow it pulls the chart in then after a moment the Isis LED turns red and kicks it back out.

According to what I can find on the Kodak Knowledge base they apparently know about the problem. The solution is to gently push the chart, but I have yet to get that to work.

Here is the link that resolved my conflict with the iSis

Thanks, but that didn't help me. The Isis still runs through it's calibration process, then pulls the chart in gets about a 1/4 of the way then the LED turns red and I get a Calibration failed error. I've tried press sheets, proofer outputs, even one from a Color Copier.

I have had the similar problem, but it has been resolved just pushing in other end of the chart (with a black stripe at the beginning) ;)
