I'm making my first attempt at a PDF to PDF workflow and have an eps colorbar that I saved as a PDF in Illustrator and put into the same folder as the eps mark (Dupmarks) but when I preview in Preps or print to a pdf file and open that in Acrobat the colorbar doesn't show up. I don't get an error message though like I did to start with before I put the pdf mark in the folder? Any suggestions?
Thank you!

See "Colourbar lost on PDF based job" thread from 5/10/06.

I did read that post after posting my question and tried to do that but don't know how to change the bounding box size in Illustrator? Don't have Pitstop either. I did try cropping it to just the colorbar size in Acrobat but that still didn't show up either.
Thanks

I made the page size in Illustrator the size of the colorbar (13" x 0.2 or 0.25"), centered the colorbar within the page bounds, then saved as a pdf. Let me know if it works for you.

Why don't you put the eps file on Distiller? (with your desired setting selected)
It worked for us.
