can not make line black only?

We are trying to place a mark, a line in preps and in the mark color make it black only. When making plates it is imaging on all plates? Any ideas?

In the Properties for the Mark. Select Mark Color, and change the value to CMYK, C=0,M=0,Y=0,K=100
