Spot colors greyed out

We recently installed Preps 5.1.5 on OS X 10.4.4 and noticed that when switching from one job to another, the new job's spot colors are greyed out in the Print window. Doing nother other than re-starting Preps, and they are back again. Then when we are done with that one, go to another, same thing again, spot colors are greyed out. Has anyone else seem this sort of thing?

I've seen this when you "Specify Print Range" under the General tab of the print dialog then click the "Color Separations" tab and the spot colors are grayed out. Going back to the General tab and unchecking "Specify Print Range" and then checking it again has fixed it for me.
