Re: JDF Templates and False Lap

To run a false lap some pages would have a different back/front lip than others. This is for a wide format press.

A global setting for lip would not be correct.

Re: Agfa Digicontrol eps?

What plate are you running? Agfa uses different targets for different plates.

Re: Defining mark as "registration" color

Is the image 4 color, grey scale or Line art?

I have imported several line art images into Illustrator and done this.

The link below is for our digi wedge.

Preps 6 - Fold Patterns

I am trying to create a multi web fold pattern so that I can use the vertical shingling as well as bottling. I made a fold pattern but I cannot import it into a preps job.

Re: Calendar Impositions in Preps 6

If you do not have RBA and the calendar is one PDF you could write a script to rotate pages in Acrobat before refining. This may be helpful if you have multiple projects in the works.

Re: Preps and Polar Compucut

Ray,
I have looked into this as well and I'm pretty sure that the data exported from Preps for cutting is only useful for flat work. It doesn't recognize the folds.
