Default Sig$sig Side$side & $JobID behave differently in perfecting

Mac OS 10.3.9 Preps 5.1.5
In setting up a perfecting template and placing these marks on both sides (front and back)of the template, has anyone noticed how these marks don't behave in the same way.
The flat identifier mark positions itself in the same position on both sides whereas the Text mark $Job ID places itself at opposite long edges of the imposition. If you want this mark to appear not on the press sheet but along the same edge of the plate for both sides they can't be set front and back at the same time.

We have built our perfect master templates with front and back marks separate from each other. This is working fine for us. Correct me if Im wrong but I think this is the only way to have the marks back up due to lead edge being 180.
